We went today for the first time with some friends. It was a little crowded for the holiday weekend but the food was good and the staff was very pleasant. We ordered nuggets and fries for the kiddo, and a Ruben sandwich and chicken avocado panini for the wife and I. Everything was very good and the prices were normal diner type prices. We would definitely go back, I like places like this.

We were in the area and came here for a late breakfast. Cute looking place. Our son was upset we came here first before going to get ice cream so he was being super dramatic but no one seemed to mind his laying on the floor lol. Pancakes came out and he was up in the booth. Service was great. Food was good. Only thing was there was a hair in my omelet but these things happen. If you go out to eat constantly you just need to realize these things can happen. It's gross but I'm not gonna rant or wasn't gonna make a scene about it. Only taking off a star due to that. Good prices and hopefully that was a one time, rare thing! My hubs spotted it before me and it was after I almost finished my omelet. Our son ate his pancakes like they were going out of style so that was a good thing. I'd go back here since it was good food and it was a cool looking place.

A nostalgic style diner, I just breakfast they have lunch and dinner too, they're open early and late for seven days, plenty of free parking in the rear of the building, inside, set up like a traditional 50's style diner, Big comfortable booths, Great staff service was very good, the food is outstanding, fresh, very tasty, good quality and fair prices, I enjoyed the hungry man, special, monte Cristo sandwich was delicious, very diverse menu, something on there for everybody

My first time coming here and I'll definitely be back. Retro old school diner and they capture the vibe nicely. There's parking in the back and there are two entrances as well. The furniture and the pics all add to the retro feel and they have tables and booths. The menu has breakfast, lunch and dinner options and you can order anything on the menu at anytime. I had breakfast even though it was evening. The pancakes and waffles were good. So was their chocolate milkshake. Food came out quickly and our server was very cool. I'll definitely be back.

We dined in for breakfast for the first time today and we were greeted and seated quickly. Upon walking in you could feel the hometown vibe of this restaurant. The inside is decorated with classic American paintings, red booths and a big American flag over the front door. I had the French toast with bananas and Nutella, which was absolutely delicious. I've only ever had dry French toast at diners but this was anything but dry. It was perfect. Our table also ordered a waffle with bacon and eggs. The eggs were cooked just right and the bacon was crispy. Overall, this breakfast spot was a hit not only for the good food and Americana decor, but the service was just above and beyond. Our server was great and kept offering coffee when we got low, we were really taken care of. I would recommend this for breakfast but also saw they have a huge menu for lunch/dinner too, plus they are open late!

Sat us right down for a party of 6. Very cute vibe inside, retro diner! Menu had a lot of options for all. Especially breakfast. There is no avocados unfortunately. The kitchen messed up our omelette orders forgetting to put bacon in and forgot to provide hash browns with my BLT order. They corrected it. The waffle was very good too.

My wife, a new immigrant, was even more taken with my this place than I. The music and the decor take you back to your childhood, whether you grew up in the 50's, 60's or 70's. Just the items on the table; such a simple touch; make this American Waffle House a special place to have a nicely-cooked diner breakfast. The service is very good and you can enjoy breakfast anytime; as well as lunch or dinner. The waffles, naturally, are a great option, but everything they make is tasty fresh and served rapidly.

Generous portions!!! We ordered 5 silver pancakes and received a few more pancakes! Thank you! We ordered 2 eggs with hash brown and toast and received extra toast! Thank you so much! The chicken and waffles are absolutely delicious! Flavorful chicken and good textured waffles, just cooked perfectly! Add butter and you're in food heaven! We loved our lunch dine-in! The baby girl cannot wait to go back for another great lunch experience!

If you want a monster sized breakfast for your monster sized appetite, the waffles and pancakes here are calling your name. Not to be confused with the Waffle House chain known throughout the South, this is the American Waffle House! ::wave the red, white & blue:: If the giant US flag doesn't fill you in, then park your keister in a red diner booth to experience a real American breakfast. There's on-street parking in front and plenty of spaces in the fully reconstructed municipal lot in the back makes driving here super convenient. Grab a red vinyl booth along the walls or the tables in the middle can be parked together to handle large groups of 10-16. The menu is a 3 section gatefold with full pages for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There's even a children and seniors section if you want more reasonably sized, economical eats. But AWH is famous for their BIG Breakfasts. You can order the Hungry Man's Special, where you'll get a pancake stacked on top of a Belgian waffle and the sides are 2 eggs (cooked your way), bacon, sausage and hash brown patty. If that's not enough for you, then get an order of their exclusive Funky Hash Browns, grill top chopped-up concoction of hash browns, ham & cheese. Or get a side of corned beef hash, which you can get extra crispy well done. There are also smaller breakfast combos if you're not ravenously hangry. The Chicken & Waffles are a local favorite also. You get 4pcs of a crispy fried 1/2 chicken and a whole Belgian Waffle. The waffle was freshly made, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. My chicken last time was dry and seemed freezer burned, though. When the bones are black, you know that it's been in the freezer for a while. I really want to come back next time and try out their burgers. Our server both times was Bridget and she is a gem!
